When I enter the radius of any of the three geolocations—Campo Santa Maria Formosa, Ponte delle Tette, or Campo Sant’Agnese—verses by Veronica Franco become audible through the headphones. They are read by a synthesized voice. The text is intelligible, the delivery fluid and close to the ear. No recording of her voice exists, nor has one ever existed.
