Co-funded by the European Union's Creative Europe programme, the European Media Art Platform continues its residency programme for artists, artist duos, collectives, and other artistic collaborations working across digital, media, robotic, and bio art.

The EMAP residency programme places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Applicants must therefore apply as a duo or collective, or propose a collaborative project with a partner of their choice or with a collaborator local to the host institution.
Stiftung Niedersachsen Media Art Grants 2026
The Haus für Medienkunst Oldenburg will award three Media Art Grants of the Stiftung Niedersachsen (€12,500 each).The Stiftung Niedersachsen grant at the Haus für Medienkunst Oldenburg supports a wide spectrum of media art, from video art and net-based projects to audio works and audiovisual installations. Each of the three grants will be awarded for the production of a new project in the area of media art. An international jury will convene to select the grant recipients.
Re:generative
The theme of the 24th edition is "Re:generative," a concept that relates to the sustainability of living species. In a context of profound changes and transformations, the regenerative emerges as an alternative to restore, renew, or rebuild lost or invisible memories. From the perspective of sustainability, it implies thinking about actions that ensure survival as a vital matter for its re-existence.
Open call “Residency at the Astronomical Observatory of UNamur” 2025
The KIKK galaxy, which promotes digital and creative cultures at the crossroads of art, science, technology and society, along with its Creative Hub: TRAKK, in collaboration with UNamur (University of Namur) Astronomical Observatory and the Delta, the cultural space of the Province of Namur is launching an Arts & Sciences residency program around astronomy.
E75 Art Bus
Nine artists are chosen to participate in the project. Selection will be multidisciplinary and represent different sections of the E75 Art Bus route. Aim is also to find works that can engage people in communities either locally or through digital means. Preference is given to proposals that engage in new forms of visual art that are at the core of MUU activities: media art, light art, sound art, performance art, live art, community art, environmental art etc.
Open Call 2024 Artist in Residence Program
To the artists-in-residence, mur.at offers its infrastructure and possible assistance by the mur.at admin team and the wider mur-community. Artists can involve the community in the research process, develop ideas together, collaborate with others and produce digital artworks. For the onsite residency in Graz (Austria), an appropriate accommodation in the ‘Künstlerinnenwohnung’ located in the same building as the mur.at headquarter will be provided.
REBOOT. Pioneering Digital Art
REBOOT displays the influence of digital technology in art and society. The exhibition includes key works by artists such as Edward Ihnatowicz, Dick Raaijmakers, Driessens & Verstappen and Debra Solomon as well as new works inspired by these pioneers by VR artist Ali Eslami, artist Jonas Lund, Katja Novitskova and Play the City, among others.

RE:SOURCE 2023
The title ‘RE:SOURCE‘ refers to a sub theme specifically introduced in the MAH Venice edition of the conference series. This theme will be centred on the climate crisis and questions of ecological sustainability considered in all their ramifications analysed through the lenses of Media Art (History).
