Here the latest developments in the fields between art, music & science:
You are kindly invited to attend the presentation of the “Music of Life” in the evening of 10 September 19:00 at the Deutsche Hygienemuseum, Dresden. For the first time the models of cellular automata used in biomathematics transform an ensemble of human voice into music. A choir changes into a performing sound sculpture. The presentation of the ?-XL group takes place in occasion of the German Conference on Bioinformatics. The access is free. More information about the music & science project: www.pixelsex.org/musicoflife
Above all I look forward to inform you about a further art & science project. In close cooperation with astronomers and glass experts the light sculpture „Colour of the Universe“ could be realized. The work is presented in occasion of the exhibition „rot.grün.blau. -Experiment in Farbe & Licht“ from 28August till 2 November at the Fischerhütte Ilmenau (Thuringia). A text of mine dealing with colours in astronomy appeared in the exhibition catalogue: „Ars Photoelectronica – Astronomie als Königsdisziplin der Farbe.“ Info: www.imachination.net/projects/coloursofuniverse/colours.html
