PLUS nearly 200 news items, announcements and calls …
– New Subscription Option
Introducing a new subscription option for those who are trying to rationalise their email. Because fAf keeps growing in size and is now usually emailed in multiple parts, we are giving subscribers the option of subscribing to an email announcement only. When fAf’s website is live, you will be sent an announcement letting you know and giving you a link to the site – short and simple (and not unlike this announcement). A new subs list is currently being set up but in the meantime, if you are interested in adjusting your subscription, please email l2.carroli@qut.edu.au.
– fAf_15- 15th anniversary cdrom … a great gift idea …
fAf_15, our commemorative 15th anniversary cdrom, is still available and free. On fAf_15, we present the magazine’s entire archive as well as specially commissioned and collated new material. fAf_15 is an invaluable resource for researchers, artists, writers and activists in the new media, science and technology fields. It will be particularly useful to those living and working in areas where internet access is difficult and unreliable. We are distributing the cdrom to screen resource centres, arts and artist groups, new media events and libraries worldwide to enhance access. To obtain a copy, email fAf at l2.carroli@qut.edu.au with your name and postal address.
